New research from Fiserv confirms that American consumers pay their bills in multiple ways each month, and that mobile bill payments are on the rise. Reflecting the myriad payment choices today, the report describes Americans as payment “omnivores” who use multiple channels to pay various bills.
Research from consulting firm Bain shows that mobile banking is becoming more popular world-wide. Their research found that the U.S. reported the highest frequency of mobile interactions, averaging 4.9 mobile transactions in the previous three months.
A recent poll of 2,056 Americans shows that that a large majority are not comfortable with the idea of using their smartphone like a mobile wallet that holds their credit card details.
